Kennedys, Jackie and Caroline with Collie, 1959

Jackie and Caroline Kennedy play with the family’s Collie on the Virginia estate of Jacqueline’s mother, Mrs. Hugh D. Auchincloss. The Collie is a member of the herding group that originated in England. Committed to the flock, Collies are gentle and sweet, making them the perfect family members. Photographed in 1959 for LIFE magazine. All Mark Shaw prints are made to order in limited editions on Hahnemuhle photo rag paper. Each print is Estate stamped on the back and signed and numbered by David Shaw, and accompanied by a letter of authenticity. Lead time is four to six weeks, but we often receive them sooner.
