Sculptor and artist Andrea Spadini is most familiar to New Yorkers for his bronze
sculptures of animals parading with instruments around the whimsical Delacorte Clock at
the Children’s Zoo in Central Park. The sculptor is also known for his work sold at
Tiffany, which included figural groups with faux-painted marble bases that are of similar
baroque inspiration as this pair.
