JOHN DICKINSON (1920-1982)
Pair of “Skyscraper” bookcases in wood finished with white acrylic urethane lacquer. Each has one illuminated shelf on the side and the bottom doors drop down to reveal a large storage space. These bookcases were a part of a line of furniture commissioned by Philip Schlein, the CEO of Macy’s, in 1976 and were executed by Randolph & Hein. American, c. 1978
