Two-door cabinet in gessoed wood, silver leaf, water color and incised lacquer. The top has a silver leaf ground with incised red floral border. The doors are mounted with steel cut Chinoiserie-style handles and backplates. The interior is lined with Chinese red and black patterned silver paper. Signed on the lower right hand door panel: Max Kuehne.
