Ceramics Corner: Karen Swami

«Back to News

Liz O’Brien is thrilled to represent Parisian ceramist Karen Swami, whose signature porcelain, faience and stoneware pieces are reminiscent of ancient dynasties past. Swami’s aesthetic is rooted in pure and elegantly rounded forms which are smoke-fired, unglazed, and whose elemental cracks are often filled with a traditional Japanese gold lacquer technique known as kintsugi.  She recently began creating original pieces for the Dior home collection and her distinctive ceramics are prominently displayed in the most reputable interiors around the world.
