Congratulations to Judi Harvest on the debut of her latest work Centrotavola Veneziana. Commissioned by the Gritti Palace for Venice Glass Week 2018, the sculpture celebrating the bounty of the Veneto is a remarkable achievement of expert Italian glass-making and has been a labor of love for the artist. The large scale sculpture is entirely handmade in Murano glass in the soffiato technique with diamond-etched basketweave.
On view at the Bar Longhi now through September 16th, the sculpture will then be on permanent display in The Gritti Palace Epicurean School. Please visit when you are in Venice.
